city bakery (3 W 18th, nyc) arguably has the best hot chocolate in town. [though folks tell me the one at shake shake is marvy, if i can ever get through the door to buy one). but at city bakery, february is HOT CHOCOLATE MONTH where they offer a special flavor every day. today's is SUPER BOWL hot chocolate which (odd as it sounds) is spiked with beer.
i think i'd rather pop over there on the 10th for some bourbon hot chocolate, or the 20th for some chilli pepper hot chocolate, but dEfInItElY on the 18th when it's PEANUT BUTTER hot chocolate day. of course, their regular stuff (complete with homemade marshmallow) is to die for.
