I used to love kristy mcnichol. remember her Emmy-winning turn as Buddy on "Family"? and with tatum o'neal in "little darlings"? I used to have the album (the ALBUM) she recorded with her brother jimmy. anyhoo, she's been retired from the biz for two decades but took time today to ring up People magazine to say "Yup, I'm gay". yup, we kinda figured that out 20 years ago when everyone referred to Buddy as a "tomboy".
